Configure your own FTP client program

If you already have an FTP client program installed on your computer, just select the option to add a new site. The server address will be ftp.mercurio.com.py and the access method, anonymous. The remote directory will be /incoming.

Click on 'Start'. Place the mouse on 'Equipment' and right click. Click on 'Explore'. The Computer window opens. Right-click again and select 'Add a network location' from the context menu.

The Add Network Locations Wizard starts. Click the 'Next' button and check the 'Choose a default network location' option. Press 'Next' again and in the 'Network address or Internet' box type:

ftp://mercurio.com.py/incoming

Press 'Enter'. Make sure that the 'Log in anonymously' box is checked. Click 'Next'. The name for the new network location appears. You can call it as you want or leave the default 'incoming'. Click 'Next', and then 'Finish'

Windows will place a shortcut on 'Computer'

Now, when you want to send us your files by FTP, you only have to click on Start and select 'Equipment / incoming'. It will open a window with our FTP server where you can drag and drop your files as you would normally to change them on your computer. Windows will indicate to you by a progress bar the estimated time until the files are in our server.

What you send us is a copy of your file. The original will remain at all times on your computer.
